November's guest speaker drop-in was hosted by @Mark Jarvis
Mark is from Hunmoco, a specialist business consultancy helping organisations transform the activities they undertake.
The topic for this session was blended workshops. These are process workshops where you have mix of physical (in the room) attendees and others dialling in remotely.
Mark talked about his experiences, some of the theory behind how individuals and teams are responding to new ways of working and gave the Skore community the chance to share what they think has worked and what hasn’t in the brave new world we are entering.
Really useful to hear others ideas on how to find your way to make hybrid working more effective / not disengaging
The biggest takeaway from the session for me was understanding the importance of mitigating the trust gap between attendee's.
Sometimes and especially in today's world, we don't have the luxury of building relationships outside of workshop sessions. So finding ways to involve everyone in the workshop to build relationships and subsequently trust, has recently become one of my main workshop objectives.
