How to change the process name

  • Simply remove the existing text in the 'Process Name' field and enter the text of the new process name
  • Click 'Save' to register the change

Changing the process URL (Slug)

  • If you are changing the name of the process, you may also wish to reflect the same change to the process URL (slug). This will change the name of the process in the process URL

Warning: If you have previously shared a link to the process, changing the process URL (slug) will cause any existing links to break. Some users prefer to keep the URL the same in this scenario, as not to prevent access for those using the original link.

How to Change the process owner

What is the process owner? - The user who created the process is set as the process owner by default. The process owner is generally the user that is accountable for the process and responsible for actioning any process approval & publish requests. A process owner is not exclusive to 'Editor' users, they can be 'Member' users if desired.

  • First, remove the existing process owner by clicking the X next to the users name
  • Then search for the new process owner in the search bar
  • This will return results of matching users that you can subsequently select to add as the new process owner
  • Click 'Save' to register the change

Defining the purpose of the process

What is the process purpose? - The process purpose is where you as the process owner/editor can provide context for the viewer by simply providing some information on why this process exists. You may also wish to include information here on the scope of the process and perhaps both the objective(s) and likely outcomes of the effective implementation of the process.

  • Simply enter your text into the 'Process Purpose' text field
  • Click 'Save' to register the change
  • The process purpose will now be viewable by users in the workspace
