"You can't manage what you can't measure."

If you're managing processes then you need to be measuring them. I've always found that mapping processes really helps you understand what to measure. Recently we've been experimenting with how to display what we measure in the context of the process.

This year we started doing exactly this internally at Skore. We display metrics on our key processes so that everyone can see exactly what's happening at a glance.

The process context also helps making decisions about what to do next and how to influence those numbers in order to drive toward our objectives.

We also want to see trends over time and we have made these available at the click of a button through the attachments.
